Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $55.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and implement automation systems (primarily DeltaV) to support manufacturing processes and ensure GMP and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot automation system issues and participate in root cause analysis to minimize downtime.
• Support change controls, system upgrades, and process modifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in startup, qualification, and validation of automation systems.
• Collaborate with IT and process engineering teams to integrate automation systems with data and production workflows.
• Manage and optimize batch automation including CIP/SIP processes.
• Contribute to facility readiness for highly manual batch processes and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare documentation in support of audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV systems in an industrial setting.
• At least 2 years of automation experience including PLC, SCADA, HMI, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C).
• Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of automation system architecture, design, commissioning, and GAMP principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing or pilot-scale operations.
• Knowledge of batch control, CIP/SIP, and recipe management.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, or other database platforms.
• Emerson DeltaV training or certification.
• Experience with control system validation, including documentation and testing.
• Background in project engineering or maintenance in a regulated industry.
