Responsible for the technical leadership, specification, implementation, and commissioning of advanced automation systems supporting highly automated manufacturing operations. The Automation Engineer will establish automation standards, lead machine design reviews, support equipment suppliers, and ensure successful deployment of robotics, controls, vision systems, and automated assembly technologies. Once process requirements exist: Equipment concepts can be developed RFQs can be written Integrators can be evaluated Machine standards can be defined Controls standards can be defined.
