Job summary

Horizon Controls Group seeks a Digital Plant Engineer to define manufacturing data architecture and drive a greenfield pharma initiative. You will shape data strategy, map data flows, and lead digital use-case development within an automation project team. Expect collaboration with cross-functional groups to meet GMP and regulatory requirements on a large capital project.

Hybrid work arrangement in Indiana with extensive experience in AVEVA PI and historian platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in defining and integrating business, technology, and data architectures.
• Proven ability to develop digital plant strategy and data architecture.
• Lead data flow mapping and digital use case development.
• Background implementing site data infrastructure (AVEVA PI, data platforms).
• Collaboration with automation teams to align system design and standards.
• Interface with cross-functional teams to meet business and regulatory needs.
• 7+ years in data architecture / digital strategy within pharma or biotech.
• Strong experience with automation systems in GMP environments.
• Background in large capital projects / greenfield manufacturing.

We are looking for an experienced Digital Plant Engineer to support a large-scale, greenfield pharmaceutical manufacturing project focused on next-generation drug substance production.

This is a high-impact role working within an automation project team to defin e manufacturing systems, data architecture, and digital plant strate gy for a cutting-edge facilit y.
