Adecco Search is recruiting on behalf of our client in the Duncan, SC area for the position of Automation Engineer. The desired candidate for this opportunity will have 3-5 years of experience as a Mechatronics or Automation Engineer, as well as experience with Industrial Automation/Artificial Intelligence.

Our client is offering a competitive salary in addition to 100% paid employer benefits for the employee! This position is primarily an onsite role, but there may be some flexibility for hybrid work.

Desired Experience:

• Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or Mechatronics
• Bachelors Degree preferred, but minimum of 3-5 years of experience will suffice
• 3-5 years of experience in Mechatronics, or as an Automation Engineer
• Background/experience and knowledge in working with Robotics, Industrial Automation, AGVs and/or AMRs; Artificial Intelligence experience a plus
• Strong Controls background; Basic knowledge and experience with IT/Network Installation and basic protocols
• Knowledge of PLCs and Low Voltage Controls
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
