Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Automation Engineer in Ware, MA to design and maintain control systems for manufacturing processes. You will troubleshoot robotics, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics, and program PLCs/SCADA for real-time monitoring and control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA development, and industrial control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics, conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and industrial automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
