Job summary

Entegee is seeking an experienced Automation Team Lead in New Jersey to drive day-to-day activities, set goals, manage performance, and develop the engineering team. You will work with vendors on quotes, specify sensing and automation needs, and lead hands-on programming, wiring, troubleshooting, and system integration, while mentoring team members.

Solidworks, PLCs, drives, vision systems, sensors, and robotics knowledge required to design and optimize automated systems within a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automation experience with design responsibilities.
• Management experience preferred.
• Experience interfacing with vendors and automation suppliers.
• Hands-on programming, wiring, troubleshooting and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities, goal setting, performance management, and development of the team.
• Involved in new Engineering Automation projects to determine sensing and automation needs.
• Interface with outside vendors and automation suppliers for quotes and purchases.
• Research and purchase new systems, equipment, hardware, software, components, etc.
• Hands-on programming, wiring, troubleshooting, building, integrating.

• Interfaces with outside venders and automation suppliers to get quotes and manage outside purchases of automation equipment.
• Research and purchase any new systems, equipment, hardware, software, components, etc.
• Hands on programming, wiring, troubleshooting, building, integrating, etc.
• Mentor team members and provide support for their career development goals

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in automation; design experience required. Management experience preferred
