Job summary

Red River Commodities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Electrical Controls for the swing shift in Fargo, ND.

This role supports the reliable operation of production and facility equipment, with emphasis on automated systems and control troubleshooting. The position involves preventive maintenance, PLC/HMI/VFD troubleshooting, and collaboration with operations and engineering to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with Rockwell AB, Siemens, Schneider Electric or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on bagging lines, grain-processing equipment, conveyors and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment using electrical schematics and HMIs.
• Repair electrical systems, motors, starters, relays, and control wiring.
• Document changes and maintain CMMS records for maintenance actions.
