Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a motivated Test Engineer to support the manufacturing of Tektronix precision instruments. You will develop and implement advanced test methods, drive automation, and lead technical direction for engineers and technicians in a fast-paced production environment.

You will create automated tests using NI LabVIEW and TestStand, apply data analysis to improve processes, and collaborate across design and manufacturing to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Background in metrology or calibration practices for precision measurement systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Physics.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and at least one of C/C++, Python, Java or VB.NET used for test/automation.
• Solid understanding of electronic test methodologies and automated test systems in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and test cases for various products and systems.
• Create automated test programs mainly in NI LabVIEW and TestStand, with occasional use of VB.NET, C++, Python, and Lua.
• Analyze test results using statistical tools and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to understand product requirements.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and quality.
• Document test procedures, results, and findings.
