Job summary

Tektronix in Solon, Ohio, seeks a Senior Test Engineer to support precision instruments manufacturing, including DMMs and source measure units. Qualifications

• Background in metrology or calibration practices for precision measurement systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and at least one other language (C/C++, Python, Java, VB.NET).
• Strong understanding of electronic test methodologies and automated test systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and test cases for various products and systems.
• Create automated test programs using LabVIEW and TestStand; some VB.NET, C++, Python, Lua.
• Analyze test results with statistics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing to meet product requirements.
• Participate in design and code reviews for testability and quality.
• Document test procedures, results, and findings.
• Provide technical supervision to junior engineers and technicians.
