Job summary

True House NC is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a highly automated wall panel manufacturing operation in Sanford, North Carolina. This role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and people, while developing a high-performing team and leveraging advanced automation.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, with a track record of using data and KPIs to drive improvements, manage budgets, and lead continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with production teams and operating performance.
• Proven success in developing production supervisors and frontline teams.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, capacity, labor, materials, quality, inventory, and maintenance.
• Experience in an automated or technology-enabled manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to use data, KPIs, and financial information to drive operational improvement.
• Track record of improving productivity, throughput, quality, labor efficiency, yield, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery.
• Experience managing budgets, operating expenses, and cost controls.
• Strong safety leadership and understanding of manufacturing compliance.
• Demonstrated success with continuous improvement and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and people.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing production leadership team.
• Drive production planning, scheduling, capacity, workflow, and on-time delivery.
• Maximize the capabilities and utilization of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Use production data and KPIs to improve throughput, labor efficiency, material utilization, quality, yield, scrap, and downtime.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and capacity.
• Oversee quality, maintenance, equipment reliability, inventory, and workforce planning.
• Manage plant expenses and performance against budget and operating goals.
• Identify opportunities for capital investment, technology, and process improvement.
• Partner across design, engineering, operations, delivery, and field teams to improve the entire value stream.
