Job summary

DSA Doors in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Plant Manager to own production and warehouse operations. You will drive scheduling, staffing, quality, on-time delivery, and safety to create a smoothly running plant.

You'll lead from the floor, build a disciplined operation, and develop a high-performing team through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with the CEO to align priorities and capital needs as the business grows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
• 4+ years leading a team of 30+ employees.
• Experience with quality, safety, and inventory management.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and drive results.
• Willingness to be on the floor and in the details.
• Strong communication with production teams and leadership.
• Continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, or Kaizen.
• Experience with ERP systems; Acumatica a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct production and warehouse operations across the Raleigh facility.
• Set standards for production, inventory, and quality systems with KPIs.
• Lead the plant through the Production Manager and Warehouse Manager.
• Champion Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar CI methods on the floor.
• Provide clear reporting on plant-wide performance to the CEO.

DSA Doors is looking for a Plant Manager to take ownership of production and warehouse operations.

This is more than a management role. You'll have the opportunity to build a stronger, more disciplined production operation—raising the bar on quality, reliability, and team performance as DSA continues to grow.

What You'll Own

• Plant Operations
  Direct overall production and warehouse operations across the Raleigh facility, ensuring scheduling, staffing, quality, on-time delivery, and safety come together into one smoothly running plant.
• Quality & Inventory Systems
  Set the standard for production, inventory, and quality systems and processes, using KPIs and continuous improvement to catch issues early and hold the plant accountable to it.
• Team Leadership
  Lead the plant through your Production Manager and Warehouse Manager. Build a collaborative, accountable leadership team and ensure standards are enforced consistently across every shift and function.
• Continuous Improvement
  Champion Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar principles as how the plant operates. Partner closely with the Quality Manager on CI initiatives and projects, and ensure your team executes on them consistently on the floor.
• Partnership & Reporting
  Work closely with the CEO on priorities, staffing, and capital needs, and provide clear, reliable reporting on plant-wide performance.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• Have 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Have 4+ years leading a team of 30+ employees, including experience managing 50+ across functions.
• Understand quality standards, safety regulations, and inventory management.
• Can make sound decisions under pressure and drive results.
• Are comfortable being on the floor and in the details when it matters.
• Communicate clearly with production teams, technicians, and leadership.
• Bring a continuous improvement mindset to everyday operations.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or ERP systems (Acumatica a plus) is a plus.
