Job summary

General Shale, Inc. in Augusta, GA, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support our automated manufacturing facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Prior industrial maintenance or electrical experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair and replace electrical components such as motors and control systems.
• Perform predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Read diagrams, sketches, prints and equipment manuals to guide work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, levels and maintenance equipment safely.
• Work safely on ladders or elevated positions; operate forklifts and hoists.
• Hands-on PLC experience: RSLogix 500/5000, ControlLogix; RSNetworx.
