Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an Associate Field Applications Engineer to help launch products and manage end‑to‑end technical tasks. You will coordinate samples, lifecycle events, and inquiries while adopting an automation‑first approach and applying AI‑based workflows where possible.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to deliver design wins and enable strategic partnerships with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or science (e.g., Computer/Electrical Engineering, CS).
• 3+ years in semiconductor industry or related field (Field/Systems/Hardware test).
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities for cross‑functional teams.
• High technical literacy and adaptability to changing tech roadmaps and lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the end‑to‑end process of technical product samples, including configuration and international shipment tracking through final validation.
• Track technical product processes across multiple customer accounts and maintain project data.
• Act as point of contact for technical inquiries and escalate complex engineering issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, qualification statuses, and product lifecycle updates.
• Support design cycles and qualifications by handling logistics and materials.
