Job summary

Sanmina Corporation seeks an Assembly Process Engineer to architect and optimize electro-mechanical assembly lines for state-of-the-art Liquid Cooling Data Center Infrastructure products. You will design, implement, and refine processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production across manual and automated cells.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Process/Manufacturing/Assembly Engineer in a high-volume setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, fastening technologies, and material handling.
• Experience with automated assembly equipment, PLC logic, and robotic integration.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (DOE, RCA, 8D).
• Project management and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to guide production staff.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and standardize optimal assembly process parameters for all stages.
• Lead upgrades for new equipment such as robotic workstations and conveyors.
• Optimize automation, including multi-axis robotic arms and vision systems.
• Balance lines and apply Lean principles to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Manage workstation ergonomics and safety, and qualify new fixtures and poka-yoke systems.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions; maintain SOPs and PFMEA.
