Job summary

OpenSesame seeks an Applied AI Engineer for internal automation. This remote-friendly role focuses on scaling AI-powered workflows, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) components, to support internal operations across the enterprise.

You will mature proofs-of-concept into production, implement robust CI/CD and IaC practices, and collaborate with AI Champions to build reusable automation capabilities. Strong emphasis on engineering rigor and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience with AI-enabled automation and workflow tooling.
• Ability to build scalable automation components and internal AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Mature AI proofs-of-concept into reliable production systems.
• Establish TDD, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Collaborate with AI Champions across Sales, Marketing and Finance to build reusable automation blocks.
• Lead improvements to deployment pipelines to reduce manual steps and increase reliability.
