Job summary

Niagara Bottling is launching an Automation Development Program in Las Vegas, NV to train Maintenance Technicians into Automation specialists for high-speed bottling lines. The program combines classroom and on-the-job training with hands-on engineering exposure.

The role emphasizes learningPLC maintenance, project support, and emergency repairs while ensuring safety and adherence to procedures. Travel may be required up to 65% and degrees in Mechatronics, CS, or Electrical are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: 2 years of experience in maintenance or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: 4 years of experience in maintenance or a similar environment.
  • Travel: up to 65% of travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow and learn from PLC Sr. Maintenance Technicians, Automation Engineers groups, Automation Specialist groups.
  • Assist with automation projects.
  • Assist with downed equipment repair during the production shift as needed.
  • Assist with crisis downtime situations.
  • Research and documentation using a computer.
  • Attend OEM trainings and apply learnings upon returning to the plant.
  • Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of equipment in the manufacturing facility.
  • Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of learning objectives for each learning activity in theory and practice.
  • Work safely & follow written procedures to do so.
  • Follow & respect company rules, staff and their peers.
  • Be at work on time based on their assigned schedule.

Automation Development Program - Las Vegas, NV

Starting May/June 2027

The Automation Development Program is designed to develop Automation Sr. Maintenance Technicians for Niagara Bottling's Maintenance department. An AAP participant will learn the skills necessary to act as an Automation specialist through a combination of formal classroom training and on-the-job training. Participants will specifically learn how to perform automation functions as it pertains to high-speed bottling equipment and utilities.

Essential Functions

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: 2 Years - Experience in Maintenance or similar manufacturing environment.
