FormFactor, Inc. is seeking a Development Engineer, Automation in Livermore, CA to design, develop, and deploy advanced automation solutions used in semiconductor test and measurement manufacturing.

The role collaborates with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software teams to deliver precise automation platforms, improve throughput, and ensure reliability from concept to deployment. A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 2+ years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience designing, integrating, and validating precision automation equipment
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, analyze data, and drive improvements in equipment performance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate precision automation equipment and manufacturing systems
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot motion control, sensors, and machine vision systems
• Support equipment qualification, transfer-to-production, and continuous improvement efforts
• Create and maintain technical docs, BOMs, test reports, and procedures
