Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, California is seeking a Sr Process & Automation Engineer to develop and implement automated manufacturing processes and equipment, applying programming, data analysis, and hands-on skills.

You'll work with Manufacturing, Engineering, technicians, and vendors to qualify new processes and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement; a Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Advanced degree may substitute experience.
Equivalent work experience accepted.
Strong engineering and manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

Execute automation projects from defined requirements through implementation.
Develop scripts to automate manufacturing processes and integrate equipment and related systems.
Build, configure, test, and deploy robotic solutions for manufacturing processes to meet performance requirements.
Support development of standardized automation equipment and user requirement specifications.
Contribute to equipment and component standardization, manufacturing data standards, and standardized safety risk assessments.
Apply engineering principles and hands-on troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve automation and equipment issues.
