Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, CA is seeking an Automation Inspection Manufacturing Engineer to develop and sustain automated probe inspection and storage systems, driving automation initiatives to boost quality, productivity, and cycle time.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Product, and Wafer Engineering, lead NPI activities, and train technicians on new equipment and processes while pursuing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Experience applying SPC, process capability analysis, and data-driven decisions.
• Automation experience with probe inspection equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain automated inspection solutions for probe features.
• Design, optimize, and sustain automated probe storage and handling processes.
• Support elimination of manual backend inspection through automation.
• Provide engineering support for automated probe insertion equipment and qualification.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, productivity and efficiency.
• Support process qualification, validation, and NPI activities.
