In this role you will build, test, and deploy automation workflows and integrations, partnering with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions and continuously improve performance and maintainability.

BAP Advisory Group LLC is seeking an Automation Developer / Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions that improve efficiency and support business growth.

Position Summary

In this role, you will build, test, and deploy automation workflows and integrations that streamline operational processes and enhance data flow across systems. You will partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into reliable technical solutions, and continuously improve performance and maintainability.

You will bring a strong engineering mindset to the full lifecycle of automation initiatives—from identifying opportunities and developing prototypes to documenting solutions and ensuring stable production outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and integrations to streamline business processes.

• Gather and translate requirements from stakeholders into technical approaches, architecture, and implementation plans.

• Build reliable workflows, including data handling, error handling, and automated monitoring where appropriate.

• Test automation thoroughly and support deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.

• Document solutions clearly, including logic, operating procedures, and integration behaviors to support long-term maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing automation workflows or engineering system integrations in a production environment.

• Proficiency with scripting and/or automation-focused development practices, including debugging and troubleshooting.

• Strong understanding of data flows, system interactions, and the importance of resiliency in automated processes.

• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs.

• Solid communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.

• Experience with UiPath and Power Automate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow automation platforms or integration tools used to connect business systems.

• Familiarity with monitoring practices and handling failures gracefully in automated processes.

• Exposure to performance tuning and reliability improvements for mission-critical workflows.

• Experience maintaining automation solutions with clear documentation and version control practices.

• Experience with Platform infrastructure design and deployment.

• Experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience in AI enabled automation and API integration.

Compensation

Annual salary: $100,000 - $185,000
