Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an IT Automation Developer to design, develop, and deploy automation solutions across multiple business processes in Detroit and US worksites. You will use RPA, AI/ML, and API integrations to deliver scalable workflows, write maintainable code, and ensure compliance.

You will collaborate with IT and Business Analysts to gather requirements, develop test plans, and maintain detailed documentation while staying current with automation trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field (will accept equivalent foreign degree)
• Three years in IT Automation-related roles (Automation Developer, RPA Developer, Tech Lead, Senior Software Developer, Senior Engineer, Technical Consultant)
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath Studio, Pega Robotics, Visual Studio, C# .Net, API, JSON, Web Services, GitHub, Agile Methodologies, Robotics Process Automation, and SQL

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions across business processes including Access/Revenue Cycle, ERP, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain
• Write clean, scalable automation scripts and workflows following coding standards and security practices
• Collaborate with IT Automation Solution Architect and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical specs
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure accuracy and reliability of automation
• Create and maintain detailed documentation and provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting

Job description

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of automation solutions across various business processes including Access and Revenue Cycle, ERP, HR, Finance, and Supply Chain; advance automation in Business Applications; apply a deep knowledge of automation technologies, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI, ML, and API integrations, to deliver high quality automation workflows using UI Path, and Microsoft Power Automate; design, develop, and deploy automation solutions; write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for automation scripts and workflows using best practices in coding standards, security, and compliance; collaborate with IT Automation Solution Architect and Business Analysts to gather and analyze process requirements to translate into technical specifications and automation workflows; develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of automation solutions; perform debugging and troubleshooting of automation workflows to resolve issues; create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes, including design specifications, test cases, and user tip sheets; update documentation as processes and solutions evolve; monitor the performance of deployed automation solutions and perform regular maintenance; utilize and apply knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath Studio, Pega Robotics, Visual Studio, C# .Net, API, JSON, Web Services, GitHub, Agile Methodologies, Robotics Process Automation, SQL, and Atlassian to complete assigned tasks; provide support and resolve issues related to automation workflows; and stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies.

Location: Detroit, Michigan, and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree)

Training: None;

Experience: Three (3) years in the position above, as an IT Automation Developer, as an RPA Developer, as a Tech Lead, as a Senior Software Developer, as a Senior Engineer, as a Technical Consultant, or in a related occupation.

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath Studio, Pega Robotics, Visual Studio, C# .Net, API, JSON, Web Services, GitHub, Agile Methodologies, Robotics Process Automation, and SQL.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
