Job summary

Haskell is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and commission control systems for packaging and processing lines. The role focuses on low voltage power and control systems, MCCs, safety schemes, and network design, using company or client standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Chemical, Industrial degree from accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design low voltage power and control systems for automated processes including control panels, MCCs, safety systems, and automation networks.
• Prepare scopes of work, bills of materials, specifications, and other project documents.
• Review and modify control system drawings using design software; develop PLC and HMI programs per standards.
• Assist in data collection/reporting software for process data and maintain design records from installation to startup.
• Support acceptance testing, vendor coordination, and design reviews; collaborate with project team to meet schedules.
