Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a qualified Electrical/Controls Engineer to design low voltage power and control systems for automated processes. You will prepare BOMs, specs, and project documents while developing PLC and HMI programs to meet client standards.

You will collaborate with the design team, assist in testing and commissioning at vendor and customer sites, and contribute to project documentation and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Experience in PLC and HMI programming is desirable.
• Ability to develop drawings using design software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/365 software.

Responsibilities

• Design low voltage (typically 480VAC and lower) power and control systems for automated processes, including control system panels and MCC design.
• Prepare scopes of work, bills of material, specifications, and other necessary project documents.
• Review, modify, and develop control system drawings using design software.
• Develop PLC and HMI programs to client standards.
• Develop data collection and reporting software (process only).
• Support the development and implementation of acceptance test plans at vendor facility and at customer sites.
