Jobot is hiring an Electrical Engineer in Knoxville, TN, focusing on automation and design. The role involves reviewing specs, sizing equipment, preparing drawings such as P&ID and General Arrangement, and supporting Sales during proposals with technical input.

A BSMechanical or Chemical Engineering degree is required with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing. The position offers a complete benefits package, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career growth within a growing manufacturer

Competenze

• BSME or BSChem required.
• 5+ years of application engineering experience in manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Review specifications and develop clarifications/exceptions.
• Support Sales during proposals with technical and client-facing support.
• Size equipment as needed and prepare proposal drawings (P&ID, GA, component lists).
• Obtain technical quotes for non-standard equipment.
• Develop (redline) project P&ID and specify non-standard valves/instruments.
• Work with Project Engineers during technical execution of projects.
