Job summary
ACEMCO Incorporated is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated systems across manufacturing operations. You will support Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams, diagnose PLC and hardware issues, install I/O modules and sensors, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-performance equipment and minimal downtime. This role emphasizes safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial controls or electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
Experience with metal stamping, fabrication, or automotive manufacturing is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair control system reliability issues including panels, wiring, sensors, and VFDs.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
Update ladder logic and read electrical schematics and technical documents.
Provide training to operators and junior technicians on safe control system operation.
