Job summary

ACEMCO Incorporated is seeking a Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated systems across manufacturing operations. You will support Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams, diagnose PLC and hardware issues, install I/O modules and sensors, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to ensure high-performance equipment and minimal downtime. This role emphasizes safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial controls or electrical maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience with metal stamping, fabrication, or automotive manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair control system reliability issues including panels, wiring, sensors, and VFDs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Update ladder logic and read electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Provide training to operators and junior technicians on safe control system operation.
