Qualifications

• Degree in SCADA, electronics and controls, or related field preferred.
• Experience in automation technology and project management in a manufacturing environment; Studio 5000 preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety procedures including lockout/tagout, confined space, line opening, fall protection, and hot work.
• Able to read and understand wiring schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Replace system equipment such as HMI, System Logic, motor drives, and Safety Logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage system software, controls, drives, and module projects from conception to completion.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative testing on automation systems and motor controls.
• Read, troubleshoot, and repair equipment wiring according to OEM schematics.
• Provide backup support to Plant Maintenance Technicians.
