Job summary

BD, a global medical technology leader, is hiring for an Electrical Engineering Technician to support PLC, vision, motion control, and robotic systems in our sterilization area. You will lead electrical design concepts, programming, cost analysis, troubleshooting and testing of production equipment, with a focus on safety and quality.

The role involves project work, collaboration with vendors and other departments, and training of staff.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (Electronics or equivalent) required.
• Demonstrated 2+ years with industrial electronics.
• 3+ years experience with industrial controls.
• Must be able to read electrical/electronic drawings and schematics.
• Must speak, read, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in the sterilization area, including project work and equipment upgrades.
• Program electrical control systems and interface with peripheral equipment.
• Provide on-call support for downtime and technical issues.
• Train production personnel and other technicians.
