Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc Supply Chain seeks a Controls Technician in Olive Branch, MS. You will design, program, test, and document electrical control systems for industrial environments, developing standard practices and providing training to teammates.

Proficiency with Rockwell automation and HMI platforms is required, with travel as needed. Responsibilities include creating panels, BOMs, PLC programming, HMI development, and supporting continuous improvements to ensure reliability and energy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3-5 years' experience as a Controls Technician.
• Create, develop, and document PLC programs using Ladder Logic.
• Demonstrated ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
• Experience with Rockwell Studio5000/RSLogix5000/5000.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 10-15%.

Responsibilities

• Design PLC Control/Power Panels with AutoCAD and select components.
• Create BOMs for the panels.
• Develop PLC programs using Ladder Logic.
• Read and develop logic and flow diagrams for design, testing, start-up and debugging.
• Program HMI screens for industrial projects.
• Develop standard engineering practices and documentation.
• Develop Scope of Work (SOW) and internal/external cost estimates.
• Consult with production personnel to troubleshoot electrical/programming issues.
• Provide technical support and continuous improvement for automated systems.
• Train employees and contractors remotely or on-site as needed.
• Knowledge of ARC Flash safety requirements and NFPA 70E.
