Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Controls Technician to join a highly automated manufacturing facility in Clarksville, TN. The role focuses on troubleshooting electrical and automation systems, modifying PLC programs, and maintaining equipment to keep production at peak performance.

The position offers 1st or 2nd shift during training, transitioning to a 12-hour night shift on a rotating schedule with overtime and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen Bradley).
• Experience with electrical controls, automation, and industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of VFDs, HMIs, motors, drives, and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical prints and troubleshoot safely.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000).
• Work with VFDs, HMIs, motion controls, ABB drives, sensors, motors, and automated systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Perform root cause analysis to eliminate repeat failures.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
