Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. seeks a Controls Support Technician II to support the parcel handling system at an Air Freight Facility.

Responsibilities include preventive, emergency, and corrective electro- mechanical maintenance and basic PLC upkeep, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operations. Candidate will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues, manage spares, and maintain accurate service records while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electro-mechanical or related field.
• 2+ years electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
• 2+ years CMMS experience (Maximo preferred).
• 2+ years experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens), including SCADA log analysis and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and basic PLC issues in automated systems.
• Perform PLC/VFD diagnostics, parameter adjustments, backups, and version control.
• Conduct inspections, preventive/corrective and emergency maintenance; manage spare parts.
• Maintain reports, service records, and parts usage.
• Respond to alarms, service calls, and system faults; clear jams quickly.
• Follow safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
