Qualifications

• Five or more years' experience in a mechanic / manufacturing / machinist environment and/or training.
• AS in engineering/technology would also be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret designs and help bring the designs to life by assembling automation equipment.
• Manage projects including organizing incoming materials from the machine shop and vendors.
• Wire and plumb machines under guidance of engineers or technicians; troubleshoot basic automation electronics.
• Set up and operate machine tools to machine or fabricate parts; verify conformance to specifications.
• Attend training to expand knowledge of programming languages and machine maintenance.
