Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Lockhart, Texas, is seeking an Industrial Controls Technician to join the Starlink development effort on the Automation & Controls team.

You will integrate electromechanical production systems, develop and implement new automation solutions, and design, commission PLC and HMI software while reading complex schematics and building panels to NFPA 79 and UL 508A standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years of automation experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• 2+ years of experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and commission electromechanical production systems with engineering collaboration.
• Develop, build, and execute new automation solutions for production lines.
• Read and redline system schematics (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Build industrial control panels to NFPA 79 & UL 508A standards.
• Design, implement, and commission PLC and HMI software.
