Job summary

K&K Technical Group in Georgetown, Kentucky is seeking an Assembly SEIBI Technician to support automotive manufacturing operations. This hands-on role focuses on equipment installation, commissioning, PLC troubleshooting, and production startup in a high-volume facility.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and suppliers to ensure that new and modified production lines meet safety, quality, and reliability goals. Overtime, travel up to 50%, and occasional weekends may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance, automation, or electrical controls experience.
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills with at least one of the following: Toyopuc, Siemens, Omron.
Solid understanding of industrial electrical circuits, control systems, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Technical degree, trade school certification in Electrical Engineering Technology or Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Ability to travel up to 50% when required.
Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekends and shutdown periods.

Responsibilities

Support installation, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment.
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial PLC systems, including Toyopuc, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or Mitsubishi.
Review mechanical and electrical drawings, equipment specifications, and control system designs.
Perform equipment inspections, vendor buyoffs, and functional testing before installation.
Troubleshoot electrical circuits, industrial controls, sensors, and automated equipment.
Support industrial robotics, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
Assist with equipment modifications, process improvements, and production trials.
Troubleshoot industrial communication networks, including Ethernet/IP, FL-Net, and PROFINET.
Verify equipment safety, quality, and performance during installation and startup.
Coordinate with vendors, engineering teams, and maintenance personnel to resolve technical issues.
Provide technical training and equipment support to plant maintenance teams.
Support manufacturing equipment installations during overtime, shutdowns, and production changes as needed.
