Job summary
Assembly Seibi Tech in Georgetown, KY, is seeking an Assembly Seibi Technician / Engineering Technician to support final assembly, installation, startup, and continuous improvement goals. You will review designs, assist commissioning, troubleshoot PLCs, and train maintenance teams on new equipment.
Travel up to NA and international per project, and overtime as needed. Candidates should have an associate degree in a relevant tech discipline or hands-on experience, PLC programming skills, and
Qualifications
- This role requires an Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related technical discipline.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLC systems (Siemens, Omron, Toyopuc).
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and automation.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
Responsibilities
- Review equipment designs, drawings, and specifications for improvements.
- Conduct vendor equipment buyoffs to verify safety and quality.
- Support installation, commissioning, startup, and production launch activities.
- Troubleshoot and modify equipment to improve performance.
- Perform equipment trials and adjustments to optimize quality and productivity.
- Install, program, troubleshoot, and support PLC-based control systems.
- Provide technical training to Maintenance and Production teams.
