Job summary

Church & Dwight seeks an Instrumentation and Controls Specialist for the York, PA facility. You will design, install, troubleshoot, and commission PLC-based control systems across packaging and processing lines, leading automation improvements and capital projects.

Requirements include 3–5 years in controls/instrumentation in a fast-paced plant, safety focus, and strong communication skills. Shift: Fri & Mon nights, Sat-Sun nights; base pay $45.62/hr plus $2.00/hr shift diff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3-5 years of controls/instrumentation/electrical experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Formal training in control systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or vocational certificate; experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and follow all safety policies.
• Design and modify process control and instrumentation systems.
• Lead automation-related troubleshooting and capital projects.
• Improve control logic for efficiency and waste reduction.
• Support calibration, electrical work, and instrument troubleshooting.
