H. T. PROF Group in Brown Deer, WI is seeking a seasoned Plant Automation SME to lead high-capacity automation lines and robotics on the 1st shift.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and mentor technicians, serving as the plant's principal technical authority. This direct-hire role offers a stable 1st shift schedule (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), no on-call rotations, and a compensation package starting at $43 per hour plus performance bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

8+ years of industrial maintenance & automation experience in high-volume manufacturing.
Advanced control systems mastery: troubleshooting robotics, VFDs, and PLC logic.
Schematic, print literacy for electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Practical welding and fabrication for heavy machinery repair.
Diagnostic instincts across robotic, electrical, fluid power and mechanical domains.
Stable employment history with growth in technical roles.
Local commute within Brown Deer / Northern Milwaukee County, WI area.

Responsibilities

Serve as Plant Automation SME for diagnostics, logic reviews, and repairs on automated lines.
Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems on Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms.
Interpret complex schematics and blueprints to locate faults.
Maintain fluid power and power distribution systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Perform mechanical modification and fabrication on equipment on-site.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to maintenance staff.
