Job summary

TAI in Owings Mills, MD, seeks a Back Project Manager - Controls & Automation Engineering to lead complex industrial automation projects from concept through commissioning. You will serve as the primary liaison between clients and engineering teams, coordinating scope, schedules, budgets and technical deliverables while ensuring successful project execution.

This hands-on role rewards leadership and problem-solving across industries.

Qualifications

• Leadership and communication skills are essential to coordinate clients and engineering teams.
• Experience managing scopes, budgets, and schedules across multiple phases of industrial projects.
• Hands-on leadership with the ability to self-perform controls/design tasks and review engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex automation projects from concept through commissioning.
• Serve as liaison between clients and engineering teams to define scope and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; manage change orders as needed.
• Coordinate with multiple TAI divisions for multi-discipline projects and ensure quality control.
