Job summary

TAI in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Project/Process Engineer to drive operational excellence in manufacturing and chemical processing. You will lead capital projects from concept through startup, identify process improvements, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering partners, and vendors to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 5–10+ years of related experience, and a track record in process engineering or industrial project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/ mechanical/ process engineering.
• 5–10+ years in process or manufacturing engineering or industrial project management.
• Experience managing capital projects from feasibility to startup.
• Experience in chemical processing, water treatment, or utilities preferred.
• PMP and Lean Six Sigma desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes to improve safety, reliability, capacity, quality and cost.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, and equipment specifications.
• Perform process calculations, equipment sizing, and utility assessments.
• Support PHA, MOC, and process safety initiatives.
• Lead capital projects from conceptual design through startup and closeout.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, engineering partners and vendors.
