Job summary

Red Gold is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to lead installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial automation equipment across our production facilities. You will design and modify control systems, create detailed electrical drawings, and ensure documentation is current.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, AutoCAD, and FactoryTalk, along with the ability to train operators and coordinate with contractors. Strong electrical engineering background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/related engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience with PLCs and automation applications including AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of FactoryTalk platforms and RSLogix RSNetworx tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, operation and maintenance of automation equipment.
• Design, document and modify control systems and electrical drawings.
• Develop and implement standards for electrical/controls components.
• Provide support for equipment control systems and HMIs.
• Train team members on new or modified equipment.
• Collaborate with management, contractors and utilities.
