Job summary

Red Gold, Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Controls Engineer responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining equipment control systems.

You will manage installation, testing, and upgrades of PLCs, HMIs, and related control hardware to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Qualified candidates will have a BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred) and 3–5 years of controls experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and FactoryTalk/RSLogix tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial engineering or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of controls experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD, RSLogix 500/5000, RSNetworx, RSLinx and FactoryTalk platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain automation equipment; provide detailed reporting of project activity.
• Coordinate projects with management, contractors, and utilities.
• Train team members on operation of new or modified equipment.
• Develop and implement standards for electrical and controls components.
