BHE GT&S is offering a summer internship for Electrical Engineering or Computer Science students in the Automation and Controls Department at our White Oaks General Office in Bridgeport, WV. The role involves hands-on work with PLCs and DCS, software development, documentation, and quality control.

Qualified candidates are rising sophomores or juniors by summer 2027, enrolled in ABET-accredited programs, and must have a 2.5 GPA or higher. Housing stipend may be available for those 50+ miles away.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a 4-year ABET-accredited degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum GPA not specified in ad; be prepared to meet program requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and solve equipment issues.
• Design, develop and program software for real-time PLCs and DCS.
• Write/review operating procedures and process documentation.
• Perform equipment inspections and quality controls.
• Support cost analysis where applicable.
