Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Automation and Controls Engineering to lead reliability of automated machinery, conveyors and robotics at our Moen DC in Kinston, NC. You will manage a skilled team, drive preventive maintenance and optimize equipment performance.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical or electrical engineering degree, with proven experience in PLCs, HMI, Rockwell/AB platforms and maintenance leadership within manufacturing or distribution environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required or preferred.
• Experience leading Engineering and Maintenance teams in Manufacturing/Distribution.
• Strong knowledge of controls systems and Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.
• Experience with continuous improvement methods and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility management and maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance and KPI tracking.
• Lead a team of maintenance staff and engineers to deliver reliable equipment performance.
• Drive automation projects and capital initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
