Job summary

Marvin seeks a CEPG Controls Engineer to program, research, upgrade, purchase, install and maintain controls for the manufacturing and facility equipment across Marvin brands. You will work with manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, systems and facilities to design, implement and support PLCs and controls throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Two+ years related experience/training.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment and hand tools.
• Read and understand prints and schematics.
• Know- how of AutoCAD Electrical and MS Office.
• PLC and Operator Interface programming knowledge.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, install and test automation control systems to improve efficiency.
• Provide input on components, software, databases and interfaces per standards.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and programmatic issues to keep systems running.
• Support transfers of new equipment and training for maintenance staff.
• Maintain safety policies and collaborate across departments.
