Job summary

ATI Millersburg Operations is seeking a Process Controls and Automation Engineer to support a growing manufacturing organization. The role focuses on design, development, and implementation of equipment control systems to improve plant efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities include PLC control, data collection, HMIs, and project leadership. Requires a bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience.
• Knowledge of NEC & OESC, equipment specification, controls interfaces, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and modifying machine control system architectures based on operational requirements and specifications.
• Supporting network systems related to PLC control, data collection, and data historization.
• Writing machine control software for equipment installation, integration, and continuous improvement.
• Developing and maintaining HMIs throughout the facility.
• Leading and executing control system improvement projects.
