Job summary

Land O'Frost seeks an Electrical Engineer to own automation at our plant, combining hands-on controls work with strategic technology initiatives. You will partner across Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to deliver innovative automation solutions and capital projects that improve safety, efficiency, and performance.

You will design and program PLC/HMI systems, lead reliability improvements, and standardize controls across manufacturing processes, while supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years in electrical controls, PLC programming, manufacturing environments.
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems; multi-project capacity.

Responsibilities

Serve as the facility's electrical controls SME.
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
Lead controls improvements to boost reliability, throughput, and safety.
Develop and implement capital project control system architecture and specs.
Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Production.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and identify optimization opportunities.
