Job summary

Hunter Douglas seeks an experienced automation controls engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced automated systems for NA plants. You will partner with engineering, production, and IT to identify opportunities, define requirements, and ensure safe, efficient production lines.

You will write control logic per IEC61131-3, develop HMIs, and validate performance through FAT/SAT and startup activities. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in manufacturing as a controls engineer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT to execute automation projects.
• Design advanced control systems aligned with standards and customer needs.
• Develop HMI programs for machine interactions and alarms.
