Job summary

Prysmian USA is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain manufacturing automation across the plant. You will own PLC, HMI, SCADA systems, and industrial networks, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and drive digital transformation.

You will lead capital projects, support startups, and develop dashboards and data-driven reporting to identify reductions in scrap and optimizations in process capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls/Automation engineering or related field.
• 3–7+ years of manufacturing controls and automation experience.
• Experience supporting high-speed manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs and control systems.
• Support and improve HMI and SCADA applications across the plant.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues.
• Lead automation-related capital projects from concept to startup.
