DuPont is seeking an Automation & Process Control Specialist to shape and optimize the digital and control backbone of our Corian® operations at our Buffalo, NY site. You will own key control systems (DCS, PLC, MES), drive safety, reliability, and performance in a high-hazard manufacturing environment.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor a team, and partner with operations, maintenance and IT to deliver sustainable automation improvements that advance site safety and productivity.

Qualificações

• 5–7 years of experience in a PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing environment with automation focus.
• Experience with PSM/SIS standards and alarm management.

Responsabilidades

• Own critical control systems across DCS/PLC/MES ensuring safety, reliability and data integrity.
• Champion safety and compliance to meet PSM and cybersecurity standards.
• Lead automation improvement initiatives aligned with safety, quality and productivity.
• Define long-term strategies for control hardware/software obsolescence.
• Lead automation scope for capital projects, including control narratives.
• Support operations via troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Manage and mentor Automation & Process Control team.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, IT and engineering for sustainable results.
