Job summary

RimePro Inc is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, implement, and maintain control systems for state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The role focuses on Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI, and SCADA, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and safety of automated lines.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in industrial automation, proficiency with PLCs and SCADA, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Occasional travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
• Experience programming Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC 500).
• Experience with Allen Bradley software.
• Strong knowledge of HMI development and SCADA design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems using Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Create and maintain HMI screens for operator interfaces.
• Develop and maintain SCADA systems for plant-wide monitoring.
• Troubleshoot control systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to integrate control systems.
• Test and validate control systems before implementation.
• Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance staff.
• Stay updated on trends in industrial automation and control systems.
• Document wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and operation manuals.
• Participate in project planning to meet deliverables within budget.
• Perform system audits and recommend reliability improvements.
• Implement and maintain safety systems per standards; travel to client sites as needed.
