The Marzetti Company is seeking an Automation & Controls Engineer to ensure reliability, improvement, integration, and cybersecurity of automation across processing, packaging, utilities, and facility infrastructure at our Georgia facilities. This hands-on role supports day-to-day production and leads improvements to safety, quality, throughput, and operator experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Hands-on automation and controls experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs and Studio 5000.
• Background in SCADA/HMI systems like Ignition or FactoryTalk.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLC-based control systems.
• Develop and improve SCADA/HMI applications and historian data.
• Support OT cybersecurity and segmented networks per standards.
• Lead or support capital and continuous-improvement projects.
